Auric - shapeshifting forms 1,4,5 (by Aurin/korpinkorva)
This is a set of sketches of my jackal/gryphon 'sona, Auric, shapeshifting to some of his different forms, from wingless plantigrade anthro-jackal to anthro-gryphon to jackal-headed quadrupedal gryphon. This will eventually be a set of 5 sketches to help illustrate the 1 to 5 shapeshifting scale I mention in my Journal about Auric's design: http://www.furaffinity.net/journals.....s/#jid:4969737 These three sketches are forms 1, 4, and 5 on the 1 to 5 scale.
The artwork is drawn by Aurin (korpinkorva) who can be found on Weasyl: https://www.weasyl.com/~korpinkorva and the sketch is over there at: https://www.weasyl.com/submission/5.....orms-1-4-and-5 (though I resized the anthro-gryphon form (92%) and the gryphon form (95%) a bit in this version to make it about the same size as the plantigrade form). Aurin is a fairly well-known shapeshifting canine gryphon character. Aurin/korpinkorva was one of the first artists that I thought of when I decided my winged jackal 'sona was going to have a gryphon form and was a big help in developing my 'sona's wing design. The similarity between Auric and Aurin's names is purely coincidental and their colors and personalities are quite different. We are now working on the remaining two forms to make this a set of five.
