You know that the original version of the song was done completely without musical instruments? completely done with only I think five guys singing it.

Uh yeah..I do? I got my inspiration to create a version with instruments and no vocals from that video..*rolls eyes* I watched that show all the time anyway.

Darn right it was done with no instruments. The group that originally sang it and cameoed occasionally on the game show is called Rockapella. A play on words of their performance style acapella, from the french for "without accompaniment." I wonder what happened to those guys anyway.

I don't know what happened to them, but yeah, That's the reason it was so hard to re-create it WITH instruments, because since it was done acapella, that meant I had to try to manually find the closest sound to each vocal note, and since the voice is not always exactly 100% on the note, it made it quite hard.

And Yeah I know they use no instruments...I watched that show all the time when I was a kid and also by now I have taken 7 years of piano, I know what Acapella is :P

Sorry if I sounded patronizing. I'm proud of what little French I can remember from high school, and there's plenty of people out there that don't know what it means. It's a genre that seems to have fallen out of style lately.

It is allright, I might not seem like it but I took piano lessons for about seven years and also learned a lot of other music stuff durring that time, Acapella is also one of my favorite styles of music.

It does indeed not seem like it. Although I'm not sure how I'm meant to discern that from talking to you online. Perhaps all that experience pressing piano keys gives a more musical quality to the way you press keyboard keys that I'm not seeing...
