Nothing like a friendly butterfly to put a smile on your face :)

I really love the first piece I got from him, "Portrait of Taj", and have wanted to get a similar piece done for Fei for awhile.
When the chance arrived I took (I think) the second-to-last wait-list spot, which ended up coming-up sooner as Coyox found some extra time in-between larger pieces.

I wanted to capture Fei's enthusiasm and wonder-in-nature of the world. Having lived most of her life under her Father's watch in a castle, Fei enters the world as a place only seen through the books and stories her Mother would share, new sensations like feeling a breeze or standing in sunlight became favorites, finally experiencing everything for herself was simply magical, but this tops them all.

When resting with Taj during their travels, sitting on a rock, Fei herself becomes a point of rest for a few butterflies passing by, and can't help but get into a staring-contest with 1 of them, restraining her giggling hoping not to scare the little guy away.
