A fan-art that I've been planning on for ages, but ran out of time last year, and very nearly missed the chance to do this year. Heh, thank goodness all-nighters and coffee soda. :)

For Mother's Day, the subject I chose was Prophetess Lapilope, a seer of the future, and the mother of Phenix in Extinctioners. While not a blood relative, she she was every bit a mother to Phenix, raising her well, and helping Phenix become the confident and good hearted phoenix she is today. Furthermore, Prophetess gave her own life to save her adopted daughter's. Her kindness, love, and sacrifice show the strength and depth of a mother's love.

This drawing is set many decades ago, in Phenix's beginning years.

(Sadly I have no clue as to how make the cloth of Phrophetess's dress look right.)
