This is a sketch of my 'sona Auric's dagger and sheath, and also his rarely seen spear/naginata (which is just the dagger blade on a spear shaft). The dagger is a small doodle from an upcoming refsheet of Auric by Ashe Skyler ( http://www.raven-wing.net/ ) and the spear is an edit that I made. I'm posting these in case someone needs them for reference. The blade and guard should be identical in dagger and spear form, since in a magical setting it is the same weapon, the dagger's grip/hilt stretches to form the spear. The blade should be shaped so that it will be functional in both dagger and spear form, with a slight curve so that it can be used for either stabbing or cutting. If Auric is ever shown with his spear extended, he should probably be wearing the empty dagger sheath at his waist/belt. The sheath is lacquered wood with metal fittings at the lip and tip. The dagger itself is intended to be very well made but not especially ornate.

Auric doesn't like fighting and avoids it when possible. If forced into a physical fight, he would typically fight barehanded with martial arts (or with tooth and claw). However, there are some situations where a weapon is useful or even necessary, so he can be shown with a dagger or a spear (at least in fantasy settings).
