was at a furmeet yesterday, when I mentioned I was hammy, one guy said he remembered my artwork from just seeing it once 5 years ago. (of course there were others that know me, but theyre not the ones that this conversations about) :P
so it got my thinking about how memorable my character is (which I mainly think is for the simplicity; I mean whose going to remember a fox with 7 penii, a purple hairdo, 6 ears and 270 earrings when every other guy has the same crazy over the top characters).
then I wondered, how little it took before the character was recognised as "hammy". I know I didnt even need the outline, but I accidently put them on the same layer

also I remember quite well the Prince of Persia comic, "So fuck me sideways with a 20-inch dildo"
needless to say it certainly got chuckles from my roommate.
I like to hear that people actually remember my work :D
then theres the other guy named hammy hamster, he too is a hamster named hammy if you believe it or not
then there hammy hamster, she's gender confused
I also like that you play against type - when I think "dom," I don't stereotypically think "soft, skinny hamster with a cute face." But you make it work very well, and I think it makes Hammy that much more fun, sexy, and unique.
I do love to play against the stereotypes and see what I can get. (though sometimes taking aspects from the stereotype can help)
I like your observation, nobodies ever said that about my character. thanks ^_^
=P
