An engineer is sent on a normal research mission out into deep space. The process was to be routine, he’d completed runs like these a thousand times. He goes in, he comes out, and heads home; rinse and repeat. He knew the risks and even experienced a few from time to time, but none like this. _______________________________________________________________________This is a short story I had produced for my development team (that consists of my friends) for our game that we're creating for our course at university. So this work was a collaboration of our ideas and through my expertise of Microsoft Office, I emulated them all onto a Word Doc.
And of course, feedback is always appreciated!

Beautiful work. Dare I say that I love the introduction, especially the metaphore with the candle part. I found it enthralling.
Also, I cannot abstain from pointing out that this line " . It appeared that some of the obstruction near the engine had also managed to carve a small gash on the right side of the ship. Don’t want anything marking up the baby. " made be chuckle intensively considering the slang for "gash"
Regardless, it's a beautiful work of science fiction that manages to rise above the general amount of literary work you see on FA and for that, you have my commendation.
May prosperity pave your paths on your little endeavour with the Fabby Cat Studios. An exquisite name dare I add.
