They came to us, in dire situation
A pair of ferrets that brought elation
Blackpaw & Pogo, our pride and joy
The sweetest girl, and beautiful boy

The games we would play, and the fun we had
They were perfect angles, could do no bad
Kind and gentle, overflowing with love
The sweetest ferrets, I can think of

Time passes, there is no way to stop
To turn it back, or make it flop
And so came the day and Pogo passed
Our time with Blackpaw would not last

Now they are gone, and memory remains
We would not trade them, no matter the pains
They were loved and adored forever infinitely
They were such a huge part of our family


Now they lay together, forever at rest
The times that we shared were all the best
Memories and love, all that we cared
I will never forget the times that we shared


Gone, but never forgotten



- Our two eldest ferrets have passed from old age. They were brother and sister, and loved without hesitation. Now they rest side by side, and will be forever missed, and always loved
