If you have $20 to spend, I cannot recommend Okami HD for PS3 on the PlayStation Store strongly enough. Everyone should experience the game. ^^'

Is it an adventure type game?

Largely, yes! It has so much to offer, it has a lot of fun humour, a beautiful and unique visual style, some unique gameplay stuff as well, has an award winning Original Score (soundtrack), a deep and intriguing story, smooth controls, and takes you on an adventure that in itself is also award winning. It has won many awards, and is nearly unanimously loved by everyone, with extremely rare exceptions. Excellent ratings all over. ^.^

Perfect! But you won't find it in stores, Okami HD is digital download only off of the PlayStation Store on the PS3. But a non HD version is available for PS2 and Wii. ^^'

For which? XD I will say that the Wii version is the -last- I would recommend, due to potentially frustrating times trying to get the Wii Remote to be read in it's movement correctly. ^^'
