The finished image you help me to complete in my journals on FA and DA: http://magolobo.deviantart.com/jour.....3871/#comments I check many ideas like a fireman, elfs, phoenix and more, the most voted were a Dragon & Demons, so why do not try a mixed theme. I like it.
My first idea was the creature with lava skin, a really Fire Dragon but also I guess this contrast color works better and more scary. It reminds me the “Dragon Slayer” old movie too.
Recently I´m more interested on those creatures thanks to Mauricio Herrera http://el-grimlock.deviantart.com/ and our chats on the Mexico Comic Conventions. He´s someone I must refer as the “Dragon master” of because his fantastic style.
Who knows? Maybe I will do more Dragon artworks.

impressive. the flames look hot enough to vapourize steel, and the dragon looks demonic enough without an overload of horns and stuff. that warrior has quite some task before him, especially if he wants to be home in time for a cold cerveza. :)

I know I've said this for a lot of recent art, but this could make a nice poster. This one could even be sold to the general fantasy genre too.
The dynamic of this piece reminds me of a Ken Kelly or Frank Frazetta piece, but with cleaner detail. Very nicely done.
