You and me both. There's literally an Opossum rehabilitator who I talk to when he stops at my work. And he said," Hey, if you're ever looking for one, lemme know. I have a lot I take care of, and some of them can't be rehabed. I'd gladly put it under your care" as I have past experience caring for them in my youth. I died of happy inside.

And then he took a baby 'poss outta his vest and put it in my hands, after which it immediately began to gnaw on my thumb, and wrap it's tail around all my fingers.

I went to heaven.
