Quick little backstory to this, the idea came about while I was still mentally exploring Taj's existence, when various ideas ran through my head, from a story-tangent where he turns evil, to this, being bestowed an unknown power through gaining possession of an ancient talisman.
The idea of a powerful talisman actually came from a song, Blue by Gemini. The idea being the first initial 'drop' in the song would be when Taj unexpectedly 'activates' the talisman, unleashing an untold amount of power upon & into himself in an explosion of Pure White Light.
Taj had retrieved the talisman from some thugs who were working for an evil sorcerer in the area, a reward was being offered for the sorcerer (who was seeking powerful articfacts for evil) , dead or alive. Having only found thugs in his searches, Taj decided to take the talisman in the hopes of selling it in the market to still make himself a 'reward'.
Inspecting it while walking through some woods, scratching & rubbing the oddly smooth metal material, the wind appears to die down, Taj stops for a moment to look around, the temperature starts dropping rapidly, a 'buzzing' can be heard, and then Taj feels his hand vibrating.
Looking back at his hand, Taj realizes the vibration is from the talisman, and the buzzing is now growing louder as well as an increasing ominous glow, as the wind and lights begin to swirl around him, Taj finds himself feeling 'frozen' in place, from fear and anticipation.
He feared what he couldn't understand, what caused the talisman to 'wake up', and whether he could control it or not.
He also knew that he was still alive & breathing, the sorcerer must've wanted this, and he wasn't about to just give up power.
Taj grasped the talisman tighter, speeding the buzz into a ringing and unleashing more swirling lights, beams of light broke though the gaps in his fingers, spreading in front and behind Taj, growing brighter and brighter...
Until a Pure White Light enveloped Taj, The Woods, and the Night Sky in a screech of Unleashed Power.
[Taj may, or may not, have this talisman & power currently, I'll have to see if it comes back at some point ;)]
