Tarot's main foe, and the majority of creepy critters running around inside your head.

However, they are quite the cuties~

Made of all muscle, these hound-like beings know only how to destroy.
They dash around your dreams, chasing away any good or happy thoughts,
leaving only the most horrid and all consuming fear behind. They specifically
target happy memories and tear them to pieces.

They do not eat, and they do not sleep. They only destroy.

If one is allowed to run free, it will successfully destroy a healthy persons
mind within weeks. They run in packs, often seen forming the same hunting
tactics as wolves to tear at a specific thought.

Their only weakness is a well guarded spot at the back of their neck. if this
spot that is buried in thick muscle is severed from the skull, the haunt will die.

The only indicator of the strength of a specific haunt is the size and shade of
muscle along its body. The darker the haunt, the longer it has been around,
and the stronger it may be.

It is currently unknown where these creatures come from, but it is thought that
they are born from the darkest and most evil of actions and wrathful energies.
