I sat in the cold under the streetlight at the edge of the park waiting for him. While my face remained calm and collected, I could feel my anxiety building at the uncertainty of whether or not he'd show up. The anxiety transformed itself into fear and anger. I wasn't angry with him. I was angry at myself for allowing him to get close to me. I didn't want to rely on him or anyone else.
My guardians would have been angry for me being out this late if they knew. They had reason to be I guess, but I couldn't force myself to care. I could never truly feel close to them. They weren't my parents and they never would be. The psychiatrist urged me to lean on them and trust them, but I couldn't. I'd done that before and been left in a world that couldn't possibly understand me. Yet, here I was allowing myself to fall into caring again, into getting attatched.
As the clock on the tower across the street continued to tick, I grew impatient. After about thirty minutes or so, I heard the soft clicking of claws against the pavement and let out a sigh of relief as the soft-hearted Coonhound came into view.. Jesse had kept his promise.
Just some expirmental painting I did of one of my characters to try new things. I rather like how this came out. This is Kenneth the Dalmatian. Maybe I'll eventually upload more of him if not at least him and Jesse XD.
