I installed 24 ft of LED strips I got from Costco. That's 144 LEDs total. They don't give off much heat at all. And are quite easy to work with. I simply built a whole jump suit out of breathable athletic fabric I got from fabricland, then stuck the adhestive backed strips on it. I powered it with a 3 cell 2200 mAH Lipo battery that I usually use for various RC aircraft. The whole system draws 1.13 amps at full setting (white) which I figure will last about 2 hours on the battery. Or if I just use solid colors, such as green, blue, red. Its much much less hard on the battery. I also threw in a low voltage buzzer to be safe.
