I recently decided to try my hand at making a yarn tail and this is my first attempt. I am pretty pleased with it. It has a 4 inch braided core and measures at about 9 inches overall. I used black Vanna yarn - based off other peoples recommendations - and it worked well. I'm taking another trip to the craft store to stock up on for future tails. This tail is short enough to be a keychain, but doesn't look bad if worn as a tail on a belt loop.
