Question, has there be initiatives to set the pre vote attack animations to not do damage until one breaks free? SO in case some people wanted to watch the attack animation loop without having to worry about death restarting the position as much?

Ok so I've not thought through the mechanics yet but want to strike a balance like how it was done in Milia wars, where lets say you have 3 hearts, all damage takes one heart but when you have one heart left you can be grabbed, and if you don't break free you get eaten, and when inside there is a struggle gauge and if you let it deplete it takes the last heart away, if you escape you still have the one heart, it's an idea, maybe :O

Or just have everything slowly chip/drain health, with some cheats to refill your life! ;3

Game maker studio side scrolling sorta fromage milia wars like :3 I'm working on sprites atm and haven't scratched the surface of the coding stuff :O What are your thoughtssss?

I haven't used Game Maker in years, but it seems suited for that sort of thing. :D

Someone made a side scrolling template that I plan to learn from and modify, I might need some help on grapple mechanics ;D

I haven't used game maker in a long time, so I don't know what it's like now, but I can help with pseudo code and stuff.
