I finally did it. I beat became champion with only 1 Buizel thought the entire game (with exceptions; described below)

So if you want to try it, here are the rules I set up for myself in order for this to be possible

Buizel Challenge

1) You may only use your starter up until after the first gym. After you beat the first gym, work on getting yourself a Buizel via online interactions or Pokemon apps. You may not proceed to beat the second gym until you have a Buizel.

2) In time, work on repeating set one to get yourself a second Buizel. This Buizel will remain in your PC box until the time by which you are forced to have a double battle. You may ignore the gym requirements for this step.

3) If you catch a Pokemon that is not a Buizel, you must go an take it to the nearest PC, no exceptions.

(I never caught any Pokemon through-out my game)

4) You may not evolve any Buizel. If your Buizel evolves, it is considered dead, release it.

5) Kill Templars

It is possible to do. Electric types will be a pain and beating the gyms while still having your Buizel listen to you is somethings an annoying task. Well Have Fun ^_^
