i have x myself, and i like the x version better personally. now before war starts allow me to explain, i like y's version better for looks, but i like x's version because this transformation cancels his water weakness and 1/2s his rock weakness, and come across a dragon or ice type? keep him normal. problem solved. :D but anyways, charizard was one of my favorites, but i still can get over how adorable pikachu is... unless you look at the creepypastas.. however still doesn't bother me, because i've always liked the deathly side of things. call me weird but i tend to find them interesting. :3 anyways.. i'm rambling on i'll stop. :p

I'm pretty partial to both actually c: I like the x version for his looks and like you've said cancelling out weaknesses. Design wise its really difficult to pick a favorite but I had my y charizard first and went through the game with her. So I have a bit of a preference for y!
