The thing that really keeps me drawing is depression and anger, stuff like that. Drawing for others, and on occasion for myself is not always really a way to vent, but it just sorta keeps my mind off of everything, you know? :3 Gives me something more positive to look at since it's what I love to do, and once in a while saves me from, well.. Serious self-harm. .-.
And though it would be nice for people to give me feedback/support on my art sometime, my page is kind of lost in the deep depths of FA haha, so I get no faves, watches, or comments unless it's people looking for free art from me lol. I guess I don't really mind though c:

And, it is very VERY difficult, it's not really just something you can stop doing.. :/ It becomes like an addiction, like alcohol and cigarettes are for some people... Like, whenever you get too much build up of negative emotion it's the only thing you feel you can run to when all else fails, and you feel like you might just go insane if you refrain from doing it... They are feelings that can't get taken care of just like that, by screaming into a pillow, stomping or throwing a fit. No, negativity sticks onto self-harmers, and doing this is the only way we feel we can get rid of some of it.
