The icon is a mash-up of Rez and Vyers from the video game Disgaea. He's just my favorite character form the thing. So I thought I'd take a stab at it.

Don't worry about it too much, the game is Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. I just like it.

Dragon is the appropriate catch-all. I guess you could pigeon hole Rez as a western dragon as a short answer.

As a long answer: This drawing of my original FurryMUCK character I made (good lord) 10 years ago has a bit more insight. But yeah went to a dragon with the same markings and colors as my old hoss, then I fell in with the "wrong crowd." So I ended up all balloonie, which rounded the features, gave the sheen and leads to weird ref doodles like this. Hopefully not too much information here.
