Ah serendipity! The most recent person on my commission list was looking for a Victorian themed pic in either the grey scale marker or ink and white on grey paper. But when I started working in the sepia marker style, it was just perfect for his commission!
I had a blast doing this. Lots of fun details and a nice, interesting setting. A coyote and fox enjoy a loving waltz in the time of Queen Victoria. In case folks are interested, the background is based on a ball room from that period that is still in use today. Period pics make me sigh with happiness:)

The lioness on the wall is terribly similar (allbeit anthro rather than human) to the men on carved on the front of the Sheffield Gas Company building in my city (which is now a Chinese all-you-can-eat Buffet place).
Of course, it's terribly easy to win me over with Victorian things and, when done so skilfully as I expect from yourself it's an automatic +Fav without contest.

so beautiful. the light effects are great. the detailing of the room is grreat. the costumes are grrreat. thew whole atmosphere makes "victorian era" spring to one's mind immediately.
and as soon as the guests are gone I wnat to bury my face in the statue's chest...
hm, the fact that you received so many fav's for a piece without even a hint of nudeness (okay, make that: no sexuality implied) makes one hope for furry fandom...
