They Call Me Mr. Otter
A $40 character design and paint commission for Slifureyes, who was just charming to work with. We went through a lot of iterations with this guy, but it seems that it all worked out in the end, with a result I am quite satisfied with personally. It was sheer luck that the fur around the shoulder turned out so well, and I am very happy with the face and its rendering. Cheers, Slifureyes - this was a great commission! ^^

This is beautifully wrought - I always think of otters as pre-anthropomorphised, but every now and again someone will manage to do a convincing proper anthro otter. This was based on the north american otter, based on the shape of the rhinarium; I love the build of the jaw particularly.
