I work in the grocery / frozen department of a store; it's where I starting making all this stuff up. Thought I'd just take one of the names I saw a lot on the candy shelves and really misjudged just how large / popular of a company Haribo is!
Their gummies are amazing too.

These 4 companies probably wouldn't mess around with shotguns that much, since such a weapon isn't much of use against the normally-armored targets and artificial life that these guns are designed to defeat. That being said though, shotguns definately exist in this universe and are most normally found in the hands of scavengers and demons, who prefer the weapon for its relatively low lethality and high pain / carnage factor.
