Blasted Tennessee Weather
So I don't know how many of you have similar situations but TN I know has always been bad for it - seriously it was 70 degrees yesterday and it's like less than 32 outside right now. -__-; it's annoying. My toes are going to freeze off. Pffft, windows were open and everything yesterday, such nice weather but today? Sleet, rain, and we're expecting snow tonight. >>; I can't believe this crap. Been like this for half the season.
So I'm bundled up watching Disney's Tarzan as I draw. Trying to keep myself warm. Stupid drafty camper.

I'm not saying you don't have it worse than me - because that is worse XD
But TN was never known for having stable weather.. ever. And with the change of currents last year or the year before it's gotten worse. ><
Weather channel says our weather (which right now winds are about 15 to 20 mph) and the temp is supposed to be 36, but I swear it's lying. And the low says it'll get to 20, but since the weather channel is typically wrong I'm gonna say it'll get colder ><;
But if it could stay consistently cold or warm I could deal with it. I mean consistently cold sucks - but hoping back and forth is not only killing our flowers it's also giving me terrible sinus drainage.

TN isn't a breeze. The flip back and forth between the freezing and warm is killing my sinuses. Seriously I've went all season with a cold or the sniffles.
And my immune system is actually quite good.
We had several weeks with the weather being in the teens as well as a few below zero.
I know up north is worse - but TN is typically not this bad. that's mostly the point I'm making.

Darn dogs!
Yah, where I'm apprenticing as a taxidermist I found out the caracas minus the skin is usually chucked. But I figured I can use the bones in crafts. But the fastest way to clean it up is to boil it. Then you use hair bleach to whiten up the bones when you're all done. The skull on this fox will need to be glued back together though, as the hunter shot it in the head instead of the body.

Ah. Aye, to each their own. I feel as though I am respecting the animal in a way though. I've never been hunting, but I've always found it wasteful to just kill the animal and not use as much of it as you can. By making the skin look forever alive, you give the animal life after their death. For me, the bones will be used in spiritual things. I understand you are Christian, but for me it's closer to a Native American belief on the issue.
Regardless though, I can understand the creepy aspect. I have a replica Dire Wolf skull that I must keep turned to the side. I cannot stand to have it looking at me straight on. Feel as though it's going to try and leap at me.

I get you, that makes sense to me. My friend feels the same with using as much as you can of the animal and not letting it go to waste. Though dead things both her, so that's why no taxidermy for her. lol But I understand that sort of spiritual feel. Makes sense.
XD Yeaah, I just, it feels weird to me. If it didn't bother me I'd likely have it. But it just, I can't. lol
