Only 8 of 48 are known to exist to this day. First car to be tested in a wind tunnel. The second car named after Ransom E. Olds, founder of the Oldsmobile motor company.

This and many vintage cars were on display at the KC auto show in the KC vintage car club area.

Actiually,Ransom had already founded Oldsmobile some years earlier and had sold it to GM.REO was his second car company.

Trivia Error in pic description: Ransom founded Oldsmobile first (1897). He the founded REO after he got chased out of Oldsmobile. THEN it was bought up by GM.
I didn't know an Olds machine was the first to be wind-tunnel tested. So many technical firsts under the Olds name...
