The Norsemen Class Heavy Assault Transport was commissioned by the United Earth Stellar Navy during the Earth-Romulan War as a heavier version of the Olympus Mons Class Combat Transport, also including missile launchers of the same type as aboard the Leningrad Class Missile Cruiser.
