I give a lot of time to the initial line art to get all the little details to a picture, it really helps bring the picture all together.

1 bottle of shampoo... work into a rick lather, rinse and repeat

followed by a rich moisturizing conditioner

Poor thing...
My Utahraptor form uses Sorbolene Cream (it makes my scales nice and shiny), whilst my human form uses Dove Moisturizing Bar and Head & Shoulders shampoo, plus Fructis conditioner (I am a hairy human)

You've got a lot of details Mokusei Kaze, I can't help but wonder how you pull this off in OC/PS (which one, I don't know but I assume it's one of the two).

I mainly use Photoshop, but I use a device called a wacom tablet which makes it possible to get pencil like detail in Photoshop. But in all honesty my better art work is with more traditional mediums like pencil, paint and so forth.
