Seeing as it was a nice, relaxing day, Leo decided to stretch his legs and go out for a walk. He needed a bit of a break from practicing his artwork. He was often down on himself for not improving as fast as he wanted to. Perhaps a breather or a break would suit him.

Along the way, as he was deep in his thoughts, Leo accidentally bumped into a feline. She was sporting a cute gothic wardrobe topped off with a skull emblem on her shirt and a pink bow at the top of her head. The girl helped Leo up with her paw. He dusted himself off while laughing in embarrassment; he had an occasional tendency to get lost in his thoughts and end up walking into people or even objects.

LEO: "Eh, heh, heh... Sorry about that! I was just deep in thought and forgot where I was going."

FELINE: "That's okay. I was too, actually."

LEO: "Is that so? *chuckle* Well, you were probably thinking something more serious than I was. I was merely thinking about my artwork and trying to imrpove and all that stuff."

FELINE: "Wow! Really? That's so weird; I was thinking that about my artwork as well!"

LEO: "No kiddin'? Oh! Where are my manners? I'm Leo Nekozuki."

*shakes her hand-paw*

LEO: "I may not look like it, but I'm a ninja lion. I just draw on the side."

FELINE DEX: "My name's Dexxa. Dexxa Deyarina. But you can call me Dex. I mostly do sketches and drawings. I don't do much digital art, but I've been trying to get better at it."

LEO: "Heh. Funny. It seems as though we're both striving to improve in the artistic field."

DEX: "I know, right? Tell you what... How about we become friends?

LEO: "Oh?"

DEX: "You seem like a cool cat. Us felines gotta stick together."

*Leo smiles*

LEO: "*chuckles* I couldn't agree more. Very well! Let's take a selfie of each other to commemorate this new friendship!"

DEX: "Got an iPod?"

LEO: "Way ahead of ya."

*Leo pulls out iPod and turns on camera function*

BOTH: "Cheese!"

*camera clicks*

Nice job with the postures on both parties and how they interact with each other; they're nice, natural poses (i.e. the way Leo's wrapping his arms around ). Good work getting his wardrobe down-pat. Way to go maintaining his anime-inspired hairstyle. Lovely expressions as well; the way they're both smiling as they take their selfies is so cute!
