Yeah this is my attempt at doing archer in 3d. Riht now its just a head. I am learning new tricks and Understanding things more and more. I am paying the $45 a month in order to allow me to improve and do better work. I am a better visual/kinetic learner. So I pick up things easier by seeing how its done and trying to emulate that before going off in my own direction (Need to learn the basics so you know where to branch off of creatively)
Constructive criticism is welcome, though keep in mind this is a first attempt :p

yeah a friend had me look at www.digital-tutors.com
I tried out the free demo account, (a small sampling of instructional vids based off of what you want to learn)
The $45/month supscription gives you access to -all- tutorials, you can download the project files (brushes, models, rigs, etc used in the instructional vids) and things like that.
It seems to have helped me out immensely so far. and I am still watching more tutorials :)

Ah, I went by that site a couple months ago. Was gonna look at quite a bit of tutorials myself.
Then got sidetracked because was trying to do a dozen things at once, heh.
Yeah, video tutorials help a lot. YouTube was my main source, and many people put out some good tutorials.
That's one way of how I was getting better.
But a lot of times I'm looking for something specific.
When I can clear out all these tabs, and get quite a bit of this environment done, I'll go back and look some up.
I need to get better with my organic modeling.

Well keep in mind, this was done -before- I signed up for digital-tutors and already I am seeing a big difference in how I understand the mesh now :) So they break it down in a way thats easier to mentally 'digest' and so I pick up on it easier :D
I will have to do something quick to show a sort of "before and after" difference
