This pic was taken for a Photo A Day project on Facebook. This is a shot of part of my front yard, with my favourite folding chair. The critter making blinky-face is my chihuahua/Italian greyhound mix, Giacomo (King Of Puppies, And Puppy Of Kings). Whenever I'm outside, Giac is within 7 feet of me, keeping me safe from slugs, moths, and other (small) dogs. Anything bigger than, say, a strawberry, I'm the one that has to protect him (the big coward). But he's sweet and does his damnedest to make sure I feel better when it's a bad health day. It's amazing what puppy-snuggles will accomplish.
