In an alternate universe where the PRR was never founded, Armadillo Toughset got a job as a bouncer for one of the classier clubs around. The pay was good, and he saved a few lives in the process. But being a Bouncer can be a lonely and degrading job at times, and one of the star dancers, Lovella, took notice. Turns out she needed a dance partner for the upcoming "Cinco de Mayo" celebration, and the Armadillo's fighting footwork wasn't half bad. A few morning sessions of dance, and he could keep up with the best of them!..... now if only he could put a bit more flare in his arm and hip movements...

Admittedly I had more fun with this one than I should have. Dynamicism in art is always something I enjoy and strive for, from how parts of the body react dynamically, to the body's movement as a whole. And Dancing in all forms seems to catch that the best. But most dancing involves more "showy" and flashy dancing from the female partner. In most Latin dancing, ESPECIALLY the Samba, both male and female partners tend to be equally flashy. Something poor Armadillo Toughset just can't seem to master yet...
(Probably doesn't help how close she is as well...)

I really like this. I love the lighting, especially, and the detail in her dress. Only thing I'd say is wrong with it is that the placement of her knee seems a little... off. Can't quite place it, and I may be just looking at it wrong, but that's the only thing I'd point out.
I love their expressions, too, especially how she seems sort of mildly amused that he's being all shy on her :P
