Continuing on with messing around with screentone the last time, here's my attempt at trying something a bit more old-school comic book direction with regards to coloring style, favoring strong, vibrant colors. I used to play a lot of Dynasty Warriors 3 on my ps2 back in the day, and this was somewhat inspired by that game and its successors. In them, Red Hare--the legendary horse of Lu Bu--was literally a red horse. In later iterations of the franchise his hooves, tail, and mane were on fire. Which I'd imagine would be a blast for the rider. <_<
