The Faith Class Hospital Ship was created by the United Earth Stellar Navy as a heavy version of the Solace Class Hospital Ship in order to take care of more casualties of the Earth-Romulan War. She is based on the same hull structure as the Norsemen Class Heavy Assault Transport but is less armed, only sporting 2 missile launchers with 8 Viper area-defense missiles for protection from Romulan attacks.
