Just a friendly warning from Dragonigma to the post service I put on the envelope of a commission I'm mailing to the commissioner! THEY BETTER HOPE IT DOESN'T GET EVEN THE SLIGHTEST DENT OR BEND.

Mine was a little teeny bit bent, but no permanent creases or anything. Also mine went a REALLY long way. :P
How is Royal Mail, btw? I had a customer a few years ago who wanted me to "call England and figure out how their mail system works" because they wanted me to do a bulk mailing from here... Because obviously our equipment, which is all designed for meeting very strict bulk mailing requirements in America, must also work to meet whatever requirements you guys have there. lol. Do you guys even have discount bulk/business (aka junk) mail? I would assume so, but I've never been out of the country so, derp, sheltered.

Royal Mail is fine. It's UPS, DHL and Parcelforce that are fucking nightmares. They either tear parcels, lose them or don't even bother to knock at the door, leaving a note telling you to go to the centre YOURSELF.
I'm not familiar with discount or bulk, all I know is we have 1st, 2nd Class, Special/Next Day Delivery, and customs. But 1st and 2nd Class are the main things we consider. I did work at the main Royal Mail sorting centre and never saw any other types. Could be wrong, I am a derp too!

That's good! I think I've told you stories about our post... packages opened with everything missing, and all I get is a little sticker that says "received without contents". Then they say "oh, the item was only valued at $40? Sorry we can't do anything about that." Or, I'll go to our post office to get empty bins to pre-sort mailings in and find a bundle of envelopes that are 4 months past the postmark date. I even found someone's social security card in one!!! Oy. I trust UPS or FedEx WAY more. DHL, not so much.
Interesting to know! We send a TON of 3rd class mail - easily over 100,000 pieces a month, and we're a small mailhouse compared to most. I wouldn't really be that surprised, honestly, if you guys don't do bulk mail. I know I had to do some research on sending out bulk emails. But, if memory serves, in England you're not allowed to send out bulk emails to just anyone - individuals have to subscribe to receive it? That would be so nice.

This is the first time I've actually drawn something on the envelope, I always write 'Do not bend' but was never sure if art was appropriate haha.
As for the reaction at the Post Office? They took it and immediately squinted and then put it on the side while I paid, I saw them keep glancing over at it and then when I left they started talking to their colleague. I think this parcel is going to entertain a few people on it's journey!

For some reason when they mentioned my name in it, I was like "really?" so when I checked the thumbnail I really thought it was me... until I came here and I'm like "... I'VE BEEN HAD!" lol

Oh I remember you, we had some people confusing us for eachother a few years ago! With both of us being called Enigma and my hyena having a dragon form I think there will still be some confusion...even if our dragons are completely different colours and mine is western and yours is eastern.
