Lol at those tags Shane. Also I wish I had a clue as to what movie Antonio and his friends were watching. Hmm, guess we'll never know.
Ok, silly comments aside:
HOOOOOLLLYYYYY COW SO MUCH NEW STUFF!! And SO many things I've been DYING to know!!!
MAN I've been wondering about Antonio's past ever since I saw those brief doodles Pac did, jeez when were those made? Over a year ago? Heck back then I had no idea about any of this. It was all just interesting art and a couple of snippets of text. Who knew the rabbit hole went this deep huh?
It was nice to see Tony again and watch him develop as a character, this time in a more "normal" setting, just him and some friends watching movies. I frowned at his companions eagerness to condemn Terry, at first assuming they were doing so for all the wrong, predictable motives. But the more I read the more I realized they had a very good reason for it. Could this be? Are they REALLY telling the story I think they're telling? YES it is!
Then there's Muri's brother. Again, I've been wondering and asking about this guy ever since Pac drew him as a doodle in that one sketch page about young Murina. I had so many theories: Maybe Muri's professional ambitions made her become estranged from her family? Maybe he died? What could it be? Well I was NOT expecting this! Heck I'd given up and thought it would be one of those things you just don't hear about again. But then the mysterious rat in the orange jumpsuit said “Hey, little sis!”. And I stopped, and read it again, and then once more just to make sure. I couldn't believe it! Murina's brother! finally we get to meet him! and what a meeting it was!.
Half of the enjoyment I took from these stories was because I had given up on them ever being told, but here they are!
And yet, as I finish writing this, and correct the many, many typos, I feel the return of an old friend of mine. A certain grip on my chest that comes only when I feel I've just been privy to something amazing...but that there is yet much more to see that remains hidden.
Two longstanding questions have been unexpectedly answered in great fashion leaving me with a multitude more.
And ya know what? I couldn't be happier about it.

Remember in stream when you were all "no don't add characters, work with the ones you have"? Well this is the story I was talking about! We really wanted to get at both of these angles (and boy we have more to do).
Most of our loose threads were INTENDED to be dealt with, we just got busy. XD

:| At this rate, you're going to run out of subplots and side characters to flesh out before you finally break the news of Terry's homicide back in the Alley.
I love how Tone is the locus of adorableness. (Locust of Dorbz?) He even made Alfie adorable, as much as one can; brotherly protectiveness is pretty damn cute.
