Not bad for 4 hours work. Barely did anything though, just tidied up someone's model at my workplace and rendered it for em. But its something at least. The actual project I am working on has been dragging on for weeks. No thanks to constantly changing parameters.

people buy cubes, because they are an efficient use of space. but is that kind of efficiency the best kind of top spec?
cubes were an aesthetic once, when people were more familiar with the shapes of nature.
in today's world, with its urban majority, this has no longer been the case for many of them, for a very long time.
it is thus a pity then, that so many demand the cubes, with which they have become familiar.
it has divorced the human mind from nature, in ways that are not always healthy for it.
back in the days of t-squares and triangles, it was even harder to draw, and think in terms of, anything else.
yes i understand the realities of demand. but i also understand, they are the only reason, we do not live in a world, more pleasing and healthy to the mind.

While I agree cubes can be aestetic when place in certain way. A good architect should know where and when it is appropriate to use them. Actual living and function spaces need to have a basic cube structure to make it at all managable for the builders and engineers, but there are ample places to put facades and cosmetic elements. In the end, like everything these days it really comes down to cost vs benefit.
This design isn't mine, I just did the rendering, I tend to value aestetics over profitability. That being said. Finding the right balance of curves and organic shapes with functional cubes is critical to architecture I think.
