Vanessa Lavander Terra, known as Hugs for her habbit of hugging things to calm down (Or just in her sleep, or just because she likes hugging things) is one of the three leaders of the Moonlight Saviours. Why 3, you ask? They will debate and reason with one another on decisions and each run their own small squadron in different areas.
She's an Earth Elemental, and was genetically modified to have Panther qualities, though it takes a large mix to be able to add to a human, let alone one that's been alive for 17 years and 4 months already.
Her Earth Elemental abilities are also what make her tail end in a leaf- She can even photosynthesize with it. She has partial regeneration from plant cells, as a mixture of plant and animal cells ensure her survival. It's not true regeneration, it's as slow as normal healing.
Her sword, Ozarael, is her main weapon. Both a staff, a sword, and good for bashing things. =P

This didn't take me too long to draw, it never does. It's always free hand, as I have trouble with framework as well as erasing it. What takes over 3 hours is the colouring of it. It's funny, I didn't draw for months trying to get my scanner to work, and yet I've somehow improved. I guess dreaming of drawing really does help. Training dreams are useful like that. This is also the first time I've drawn someone from behind, too. But I screwed up the fingers... Hands and eyes are usually my strongpoint in drawing. =[ Well, at least it makes her seem more like she's wearing gloves. But they weren't supposed to look so thick. =P Oh well. I'll start colouring right away! =D I went through 3 pairs of drawing gloves just drawing this so I wouldn't smudge it. I accidently did through the gloves anyway. But not much. =D
