
A chocolate chip recipe i invented today
you will need
2 cups flour
1/4 cup (4 tablespoon butter)
1/4 cup brown sugar (hard packed)
2 tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 scant cup of milk
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup of chocolate chips
method
preheat oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan
combine flour baking soda baking powder and salt
cream butter and sugar until fluffy
add eggs one by one and mix till thoroughly combined
add vanilla
add dry ingredients alternated with milk until you have a smooth medium consistency batter fold in chocolate chips and bake for 1 hour
NOTE1: i noticed that this recipe has a habit of browning quickly after about 45 minutes i turned the oven down to 325 and continued to bake it for another 15 minutes because it was still doughy when i checked it with a tester
make sure that your toothpick/skewer/cake tester comes out clean.
Note 2:this recipe tastes 1000x better once it has cooled
