Kate tossed the tennis ball into the air and shot it across the court. After she'd beaten her third opponent, she noticed Lucy had arrived at the side of the court. She held up her digital camera and snapped a photo as Kate hurried over, her body glistening with sweat. "I love it when you sneak up on me, Lucy."
"I figured I'd pick you up on my way home from work. Want to hit the showers? I'll wait for you." Lucy smiled.
"Why don't you come in and join me, lover?" She gave Lucy a tight hug, kissing her on the muzzle and making sure she got a good whiff of her scent. The snake started to walk away, her tail slinking behind her, enticing the wolfess to follow. Her hips swayed back and forth, like a siren's call.

I found Kate to be an interesting character from a visual design perspective quite some time ago, sadly I read so little, I don't know anything beyond art of her. I do love the beauty that your design and artists' skills bring to this character, as reptiles are generally reviled due to their less than cuddly appearance. I was intrigued the first time to see a "furry" snake, I thought the design of her limbs were well done for a species lacking them.
So far she's mostly featured in art, and glad to hear it. :) I think snakes can be sexy, they may not be a conventionally cuddly species, but sometimes it's nice to see something different, they're rare in this fandom as are a lot of my characters. As much as I can appreciate Nagas, I can't help but think that a snake girl would know what to do with her limbs if she had them. :)
Oops, forgot to hit reply.
I like seeing rare creatures as anthros, seeing and thinking of the possibilities. I like to imagine a snake's loving embrace, at least ones I know that use lethal squeezing, being a very intense feeling. All that power, the ability to crush you at any moment, knowing it's there in the back of your mind, and yet feeling so comfortable at the same time as they caress you because of the trust you place in them.
I'm not 100% sure how this came to my mind, but I like to envision some bird societies being reverse from humans, the males the ones inclined to dressing flamboyantly, doing all the girly things. Peafowl are my top visual in that concept.
Makes we wonder, if I didn't feel so close to canines, what would I pick to represent myself. I also find things like hooves and antlers interesting, and caribou are cute. I'm extremely curious as to what it's like to walk on hooves, and I find the hoof finger tip style intriguing. I like snow, and they're suiting animal for that environment. I guess all this is why I've spent 16 years looking up furry art.

Oh yes. ;) I liked the idea of Kate as a rattlesnake, rather than the often seen cobra or a constrictor, it just seemed to fit her, using it as a seductive thing rather than a warning before attack. :)
That would make sense, the male birds are the ones with the bright colors in the animal kingdom.
It took me six years to find Lauren, but when I did, it all felt right. I loved horses, ZigZag taught me how sexy stripes were, and I got the blue hair from my storytelling hero, Joss Whedon's Illyria. ;) I put them all together and there she was, though it took some more time yet to solidify her backstory and such.
