Azaz'el Ref-Sheet: The Ivory Devil
First sheet of my ref-sheet I draw into my brand new sketchbook to share it at conventions and other occasions. ;)
I noticed at MMc that it's bad when you don't have a sketchbook to give to other artists and let them draw something into that sketchbook.
Oh well, but I found a nice little book and thought it would be a good idea to fill the first pages with detailed references for my characters.
So here you go with Azaz'el's Ivory Devil Form - his Anthro-Form follows.
Art and character © me, so please don't steal him. ;) It would be nice if a native speaker could tell me what this kind of dog collar he wears is called. I could not find the right word for it.
And there's still no category for goats, dammit! But for Gerbils... I request a goat-category, seriously!

Schön, dass du der Skizze hier den Hauch einer Colo verliehen hast. Sieht gut aus.
Doch die Rückenansicht, die auf dem Sheet, dass du mir als Anschauungsmaterial mal geschickt hast, gefiel mir besser... War irgendwie dynamischer...

war sie auch, aber ich konnte sie nicht kopieren und habe daher einfach was neues gekritzelt. Ich habe Probleme mit kleinen Formaten und das Buch ist wirklich nicht groß. Von daher ging es echt nur darum kurz und knapp zu zeigen - da sind die charakteristischen Narben, der Rest ist eher irrelevant.
Ich muss aber sagen - 'den Hauch einer Colo' klingt sehr... ^^; Nuja ich weiß, man kann sich auch mit weißen Charas viel mehr Mühe geben und du hast ihm natürlich viel mehr schöne Farbe und Licht und Schatten gegeben. Aber mit Copics hab ich gar nicht mal sooo kurz dran gesessen und ich mag es sehr. Wenn es ein 'vollwertiges' Bild gewesen wäre hätte ich natürlich mehr rausgearbeitet. Aber dennoch mag ich das Ergebnis, weil es genau die Infos gibt, die ein anderer Zeichner braucht und nicht zu versielt wirkt. *find*
