The fires aren't close.... yet. I say yet because I live next to a 3,000 acre wildlife preserve with 4 other preserves REALLY close to me. They burn every year. Fortunately, there is a huge 3,500 acre lake separating the preserve from my neighborhood, but fire always has a way of making its way to wherever it wants.
