Back in 2003, when I had attended the third edition of "Pawpet Megaplex" (formerly known as "Furry Spring Break", and later to be known as just "Megaplex") - a major Florida 'furry convention', held (that year) in Orlando - I had brought along some blank 3x5 index cards, in the hope that I could get some of the anthroartist attendees to draw mini-sketches on them. Those cards would eventually be sent out to Toledo, OH, where another one of my friends - David Morris - resides...
Over the years, David has been able to go to many major 'furry conventions' and comic book shows throughout the USA, and acquire mini-sketches of his own on 3x5 index cards, which he would eventually 'snail-mail' to me. And I would return the favor by sending him index cards with imagery from the anthroartists that I would encounter at various Florida events...
That year at "Pawpet Megaplex", I was able to get some mini-sketches from local anthroartists who lived in Tampa, and similar whereabouts. And I'd decided to throw in a mini-sketch of my bobcat 'fursona' for David...
Bear in mind, America was already in the midst of a major war in the Middle East - with Iraq and Afghanistan (no thanks to then-President George W. Bush, who'd thought that there were 'weapons of mass destruction' being made there). So, I had 'Rob' wear a T-shirt with a message exhibiting a prime example of 'the blame game' - claiming that if 2000 Independent Presidential candidate (and consumer advocate) Ralph Nader had won, we wouldn't be at war... and we probably wouldn't even had the events of "9-11", either.
So, here is a photocopy of that mini-sketch (drawn eleven years ago), now in the possession of David Morris, along with other imagery I'd collected for him from "Pawpet Megaplex".
