Their life is pretty stressful already! Kagami looks reluctant to let her guard down, but as usual, Cross is the confident one.

The most valuable part of this drawing was probably the process. I'm not sure if the drawing turned out very well, because I tried a LOT of new things, but I got to develop these two characters, Cross the gray wolf and Kagami the red wolf. I doodled these characters of mine a few times to get a better idea of their personality and interaction, and then did some research on their setting. As I mentioned in some of my previous work, I was planning on putting them in a setting like Japan in the 1990s, such as that in the manga <i>Wild Adapter</i> by Kazuya Minekura, and after doing a bit more research, I figure I like how they fit in there. I'm going to be expanding on the significance of the setting and how it fits the characters a bit more in the future.

This is the first time, at least in a long time, that i tried to draw bushes, a stone wall and something in perspective, so help with those would be very much appreciated.
