I've always loved how beautiful this song is- and when 
gsd asked me what song I'd like to record next with him, this was my first choice! He did a fantastic job with the guitar (and backing vocals!).
The lyrics and music just give me this clear image of visiting a sunny, small town, going down windy roads and alleyways, sharing that moment with someone special. And then somewhere underneath that is this almost sad, beautiful feeling of transience.

Sometimes whenever I'm traveling on a long train or bus ride somewhere, I'll let "Cayman Islands" play on repeat for a while, and just stare out the window. Same for one of their other songs, "Parallel Lines."
