Well, strange poses are quite interesting sometimes ^^
And it's no ugly background, it has clouds and sun and are not badly drawn ^^ you should just say "incomplete background" because it's certainly not ugly (^^)b
The kite is quite interesting for me as I haven't seen that design before, so it's not ugly as well ^u^
