Now I really love Soliana, so I decided to combine my love for Monster Hunter and some Viking culture to fashion this awesome armor for her. I designed everything from scratch and thanks to
TravarisRhade , who was epic enough to draw my idea, Soliana’s new outfit was born. Now this armor has a little history behind it. This armor is made from a creature known as the “Incindrus” a creature that has cursed Soliana’s town for decades. Now so I don’t leave you hanging, here’s a little info on the beast (see below)
The Incindrus, also known as the “Feral Blaze Monarch", is a monster known to wander around the many mountains around the outskirts of Soliana's town. The creature possesses a large wolf-like appearance with a demonic undertone. The Incindrus has a brown pelt with white wreaths of fur around the base of its ankles. The monster sports a row of serrated spines along its back and several spikes that protrude from its shoulders and tail. Its main characteristics are the large pair of gold curved horns that stick out from the top of its head, as well as the proud mane of brown fur it wears around its neck. This creature has been known to incinerate settlements and forests in its rage, and due to its constant moving from the mountains to the ground below, it is quite common. The creature is notorious for its control over fire, able to utilize it effectively in battle with deadly efficiency. Many speculate it possesses some sort of special organ that allows this but this is actually false; the monster’s stomach houses a flammable powder that constantly burns due to its stomach acid, causing its belly to hold a constant flame. Its stomach acts similar to a wildfire, burning anything the creature eats in order to make fuel. Despite being a wolf, the creature feeds heavily on a special herb called "Ember root", a plant known to combust when exposed to the slightest bit of intense heat, this would explain why its flames are so lethal. In addition to this, its slaughtering and devouring of wildlife help the Incindrus kindle its flames, making them the same intensity as dragon fire and insuring they don’t lose their lethalness. The Incindrus is extremely violent and attacks anything it sights, insuring it cannot be usurped or challenged. When mad, the beast undergoes a drastic transformation. The white wreaths on its ankles turn into gold flames, its fur becomes an ominous black, and the tips of its horns ignite into violent red flames. This form is known as “Flame Usurper”. This change also causes its body temperature to increase exponentially, making getting close to it rather difficult without getting burned. In order to maintain a temperature that doesnt injure the creature, it constantly gives of a discharge of energy that looks much like glowing cinders. In this form its claws cause sparks when scrapped across rocks or metal, suggesting its claws are made of a flint-like substance. If its claws cause sparks with the aforementioned cinders are in the air, it will cause a violent explosion that will severely injure, if not kill someone. It will breath streams of gold fire as well as generate multiple detonations to make certain whatever angers it is killed. The wolf is also vindictive; in the unlikely case it is injured in battle it will memorize its attackers scent and retreat. Once healed, the wolf will actively seek and destroy its rival, making sure it will not be challenged again. Despite the creature’s ferocity, it does possess a myriad of treasures that are heavily valued. The gold flames it breathes when its angered will miraculously turn into a rare gold-like substance once they cool, valued to be a higher monetary value than real gold. The gold that is harvested from the beast’s flames, are easy to craft with once heated, but after such they become more durable than any steel. Its horns are also prized due to its majestic splendor; while difficult to break, merchants and crafters alike will pay more thank handsomely for them. The final treasure is a rare gem found in its stomach called a "Monarch's Emerald", a jewel forged due to a combination of minerals and extreme heat in the beast's belly. Gathering the impurities of both its kills and its flames, the gem gets larger every so often, increasing its worth in the process.
The Incindrus’ brown belt makes up a large portion of Soliana’s torso garment, the white wreaths around the creatures ankles line most of Soliana’s armor, and the creatures golden flames have been melted down to make the chains and gold knee armor that Soliana wears proudly.
I hope you all enjoy the info, Soliana has several weapons made from the Incindrus’ hide as well, ill be sure to list them at another point in time. Enjoy Soliana’s new battle grade armor!!!
