Made for  KingOfMaggots's design contest.
He gets a prototype design for my new species, Emperor Birds. I'll be writing basic info on these guys pretty soon.

In short, Emperor Birds can manipulate certain objects or conditions to their advantage. This object is usually on their body somewhere (in this case, the maggot on the bird's head feather).
What relevance the maggot has to the bird's abilities I shall leave to be decided by  KingOfMaggots himself, but here is the example I thought of while designing him: transport via dissipating in to many maggots and then reforming someplace else.

The length of the two feathers sticking out of the bird's tail determines the average of its age and ranking in its given society. These can grow to be up to twice the height of the bird itself.

Please note that this species is currently closed until I write more about them and make them more complete.
