This took exactly as much time and effort as I expected it too. I'm finally learning how much time my own work takes! I haven't made a badge in quite a long time, and it's amazing to see how much better this one is from my last one.
Shading the wings was a lot of fun. I really liked using blue instead of black or gray to show shadows. They look much prettier because of it. Blue to white is one of my favorite things to paint.
This piece took me 12 hours all together.
