Rainbow Dash has discovered that things cannot be unseen in my Equestria dreamscape.
After our little cloud top chat the day before Link Dash was true to her word and dropped to say hi and to hang out at our cottage. While I was not weather working I had been commandeered into helping with the spring-cleaning of the cottage. Dash helped some but for the most part she just kept us company and reviewed her dance performance notes for the Best Young Fliers Competition. Link
About three in the afternoon Petina elected me to fly into Ponyville to get snacks from Sugar Cube Corner for the mares. So after I gathered every mare’s order I flew off to retrieve snacks for everypony. In the meantime Petina got a pot of coffee going on the stovetop.
RD was lying on our bed keeping Carousel company as the mare swept under the bed and evicted the numerous dust bunnies that had accumulated over the winter. This task entailed pulling several trunks, chests, and boxes out from under the bed so Carousel could get the broom under it. At one point Petina called from the kitchen asking if Carousel could get her something from pantry? The earth pony mare trotted out of the room to help Petina.
With her front hoofs dangling off the right side of the bed Dash stared down at the floor. Her gaze settled upon a box with label Petina’s Toy Box No.1. At this point Dash made the fateful decision and opened the lid. At that moment she accidentally had her knowledge of the world expanded.

Well, that depends on how big the ponies are, which is a topic of debate. Given their relative size to other animals, three feet at the shoulder seems close. At that size, such an item would be either for comedic or... specialized tastes.

Three feet at the withers fits with the lineup in Pinkie's Pride as the height of the typical pony.
As for size, there is always the message Spike was asked to relay to her friends in Twilight's Harem: "She told me to tell you that 'He's bigger than the rumors say.'” This was rather embarrassing once AJ figured out who, and what, Twilight meant.
